FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Front Passenger Side) > REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (Click here).



1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.



2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH


  1. for LHD front passenger seat:

    1. Disconnect the buckle switch connector.

      		Slider

    2. Disconnect the front seat side airbag connector.

      1. Slide the slider and disconnect the airbag connector.

    3. Disconnect the front seat cushion airbag connector.

      1. Slide the slider and disconnect the airbag connector.

    4. Disconnect the front seat wire.



  1. for RHD front passenger seat:

    1. Disconnect the buckle switch connector.

    2. Disconnect the front seat side airbag connector.

      1. Slide the slider and disconnect the airbag connector.

    3. Disconnect the front seat cushion airbag connector.

      1. Slide the slider and disconnect the airbag connector.

    4. Disconnect the front seat wire.

  1. Using "TORX" socket wrench E10, remove the 4 bolts and front seat.



3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side (Click here).



4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Disengage the wiring harness clamp and remove the buckle switch connector.

  1. Disengage the wiring harness clamp.

  1. Remove the bolt and the front seat inner belt.
